Stay Curious, Stand Brave & Smash The Kyriarchy

Choose Your Adventure

This November we take responsibility to care for each other.

As caregivers (or just regular humans), we’re tight on time and resources. We have a responsibility to heal the world, but we can only do so much while juggling advocacy and dishes.

Take solace in the knowledge that the discussions and explorations we discover together inspire our kids to work toward a better world. Raising kids to examine their internal bias and generational impact – that is next-level action.

If you only have time to dig into one issue this month – you can still meet your kids where they’re at. Show them that they can come to you with hard questions and difficult decisions about anything.

As always, no one expects you to tackle everything below. Just keep these issues on your radar, and keep asking your kids (and yourself) – what responsibility do we have to care for each other?

As always, I super-duper appreciate you, your tenacious curiosity, and your push for inclusion and justice <3

With you,

Ashia R.

Thank you for offering this. I’m a neurodiverse mom to two young kiddos, primary care provider, and person living with chronic illness just trying to keep hope alive in what often feels like a chaotic garbage world. Found this site via multiple Reddit suggestions when searching for books about disability justice to share with my kiddos and am staying to continue to find actionable ways to build community and support collective action for a brighter future for our children and the planet. Thank you!
