BOOK REVIEW

About the reviewer:

My name is Isabela. I’m 7 years old.

My favorite sport is soccer and my favorite colors are purple and orange (right now – they change a lot). I am a Jewish transgender girl.

What's this book about?

A person getting presents for Hanukkah.

My thoughts:

My favorite part is page 2 when she talks about a dragon named Nerry (It’s hers).

There’s a page after the story ends in the back that talks about a lot of Hanukkah-related things, like how to play dreidel or what latkes are.

I like playing dreidel. Here is a song:

Dreidel, dreidel, dreidel, I made it out of clay, and when it’s dry and ready, a dreidel I shall play.

I said yes to ‘Riveting Story?’ and ‘Eager to read it again?’.

There’s not really a problem in this book. It’s just that I have too many books.

Who is this book for?

…everyone! It’s fun to read for at least kids.

Who is missing from this story?

It doesn’t really talk about genders so I don’t know what genders are missing. People who use wheelchairs.

Is this book #OwnVoices*?
