Choose Your Adventure

Hi friends!

Religions across the world recognize springtime as an invitation for fresh beginnings and hope. To create new opportunities, we have to acknowledge the struggle and hardship we’ve overcome.

Here are some tools to help you navigate various April-ish topics with the kids.

No one expects you to dedicate your life 24/7 to doing ALL OF THESE in one month. But maybe pick a topic below and run with it.

With you,

Ashia R.

STEP 4: ASSESS YOUR CAPACITY

Step Into Your Power: Take Action

Whether it's time, money, or our voice - we all have something to contribute.

If you have $15

Support Multiply-Targeted Autistics

The Autistic Women & Nonbinary Network provides support to disabled and autistic BIPoC & LGBTQIAP+ people.

Our support includes meals, groceries, rent, moving expenses, bereavement & loss, healthcare, and assistance for many other unexpected life events.

If you have 1 minute

Ban Torture of
Disabled Children

Electric shock punishments are illegal for use against neurotypical children, pets, and zoo animals. But this practice is still legal (and actively used) against children and adults with intellectual disabilities at the Judge Rotenburg Center.

Tell the FDA to ban torture of people with disabilities: #StopTheShock
