Research consistently shows that these centers play a pivotal role in student safety, support, and connection to their communities - significantly contributing to their academic achievements and survival.

Tell Congress: End Deadly Restraint in Schools

Xavier Hernadez, an Autistic student, died after being physically restrained at school. His crime? Running out of a classroom. Almost 80% of students abused and killed using these practices are disabled and/or Black boys.

The Keeping All Students Safe Act (H.R. 3470) would make it illegal for any school receiving federal funds to seclude a child or use dangerous restraint practices.
