Learn how we calculate the overall awesomeness score of books.
My name is Isabela. I’m 7 years old.
My favorite sport is soccer and my favorite colors are purple and orange (right now – they change a lot). I am a transgender girl.
There are more pronouns than just she and he. The moral is that there are still she and he, but there are a lot more pronouns like they and ze and hir and fae and per.
When someone uses my right pronouns, it feels like a warm hug from my favorite person, which is one example in the book.
A lot of pronouns don’t get mentioned in other books, which isn’t really fair.
I think people who like science should read this book.
This book is written for kids and grownups. If I was reading this, I would be convinced.
People who use wheelchairs and old people.
The author does have experience with having a pronoun that’s not just she or he. The author and the illustrator are both very good at their talent.
