I thought this centering somatic activity was really helpful when dealing with particularly difficult issues: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xO-f_Wijm6g I personally find deep breathing and closing my eyes exhausting rather than calming, so the focus on sight and objects as sources of comfort was really useful. I think it’s from a workshop put on by Climate Mobilization. – Shannon
