Choose Your Adventure

Hi friends!

Let’s romp through this May with even more courage than last year. Consider this my nudge to finally tackle a conversation or task you’ve been putting off all year.

You don’t have to cover EVERY SCARY THING with your kids this year. Just one topic a month. No one expects you to do it all! Pick one story, or knit them together. Just keep pushing a tiny bit beyond your comfort zone. Crack that noggin open juuust wide enough to let a little light shine in.

With you,

Ashia R.

STEP 4: ASSESS YOUR CAPACITY

Step Into Your Power: Take Action

Whether it's time, money, or our voice - we all have something to contribute.

If you have $15

Help Me Claw My Way Out of This Pit of Despair And Worthlessness

Helping you raise kind & courageous kiddos is how I process the hurt, anger, and frustration that comes with raising kids as an Autistic Asian mom in a society designed to disempower folks like us.

In honor of AAPI heritage month, Mother's Day & exploring mental health, consider pitching in a few bucks for my therapy so I can hold it together and and reciprocate for my assistance making your life easier

Do you super-duper want me to be okay?

If you have 1 minute

Protect Post-Partum Mental Health

Suicide and overdose are the leading causes of death for mothers in the first year after a baby is born, no doubt due to the shockingly low rates of diagnosis and effective treatment for maternal mental health conditions.

Black women are twice as likely to experience maternal mental health conditions but half as likely to receive treatment.

Tell Congress to support funding resources for mental health.

I've recently discovered Books for Littles by Raising Luminaries. It's brilliant, you're brilliant, and I'm grateful to have found these tools that I need to raise my daughter as a lifelong learner and listener, a critical thinker, and a power-with person.
