New May Family Action Toolkit

From ending violence against Asian & Pacific Islanders to mental health and self-advocacy, we have to start hard conversations with our kids. Here's everything you need to get started.

Hi Friends!

When you’re in the kyriarchy-smashing business, you know everything is connected.

So this May, as we navigate AAPI discrimination, freedom of the press, destigmatizing mental health challenges, the invisible work of mothers, and so on – I invite you to build today’s discussions upon yesterday’s.

Encourage kids to identify familiar roots in cultures, faiths, and creation stories around the world – and you’ll start to notice patterns of injustice, common mechanics of oppression, and how we keep showing up for each other to transform and heal.

“I was struggling to narrow my focus and balance what interests me with what I have the capacity – or ability – to do.”

“I improved through the Summer Collective – actually dedicating time to myself. Reflecting in community has been helpful in so many ways.”

– Bellamy S.

Early enrollment is OPEN for the Summer Parent Activist Collective for LBT members and folks who joined our waitlist!

Are you modeling healthy activism and parenting for your kids?

…or saviorism, martyrdom, and toxic hustle?

If you’re ready to reclaim your agency – THIS is the summer you learn to integrate parenting and activism without burning out.

This year I’ve got space for up to 3 cohorts of 8 people each. That’s only 24 spots!

As LBT members, you get VIP access to our discounted early registration fees through May 8th.

In the LBT chat group, we’re talking about false urgency, avoiding chocolate-covered laundry baskets (it’s a whole thing) & crip time.

Next week, I’ll be back with a new topic on dismantling supremacy to unpack together.
